When hiring Louise for a performance there are a few things you can consider:
Is there a guest of honor that needs special attention?
How much audience participation would you like?
How long a show would you like, and would you like it split into sections?
Is there a colour scheme you would like Louise to match with her costumes?
Are there any props you would like Louise to use?
Do you only want one dancer, or would you like Louise to bring a colleague?
Do you want a live drummer or other live musicians?
Would you like a short group bellydance taster lesson?
Louise will endevour to ensure that your guests leave enchanted by middle eastern dance, and create fantastic memories for you and your party!
(Please be aware that Louise does have tattoos. If this is an issue because of religious beliefs, Louise can wear a fully covered dance costume or bellystocking. All the glitz and glamour but none of the ink!)

Is Bellydance suitable for a wedding?
Yes! Bellydance has been used as entertainment for a wedding reception for years and has been very popular and goes down well with guests! Bellydancers traditionally lead a "Zaffah" which is a procession of the bride and groom into the reception. It often has lots of drummers, and zourna players and is lead by the dancer balancing a "Shamadan*".
*A Shamadan is a lit, decorated candelabra which is balanced on the head of the dancer.
Is bellydance suitable for children?
Yes! Bellydance is not a sexual dance, and is normally loved by children, especially little girls when they see all the sparkle and glamour, almost like a real-life princess Jasmine! When dancing Louise encourages audience participation and children can learn very simple bellydance moves, and if desired Louise can provide coined hip belts for the younger guests. Louise also provides entertainment for children's parties, with face paints, glitter tattoos and live drumming, perfect for if you want an Alladin or Arabian Nights themed birthday party!
How do you supply your music?
Louise can either provide music for the evening on a CD or MP3 player that she can pass on to your DJ, or Louise can provide a PA System that she can play her music on. Louise can also bring her partner who is an arabic drummer and professional musician for the event.
